The OAKMEAL Acorn Farm hosts visits year-round for schools, groups and families. The program last 1.5-2 hours and includes sampling of acorn foods, local organic wine and local cheeses. Visits can be catered to the needs and expectations of the group: there are experiences for kids as well as curious adults. All visits to the farm must be arranged in advance, the farm is not currently open without an appointment.
Meet the Expert
Marcie's mission is to spread awareness of acorns and other artisan local products through fun and informative educational events. Feedback from the University of Oregon student group that recently visited the farm:
