Welcome
Welcome to my website, I am Marcie, a recognised leading expert on gathering, processing, storing and cooking with acorns. I am the author of Eating Acorns 2019 as well as several research papers about acorns. My life on Kea is very far from my Silicon Valley upbringing and university experience at UC Berkeley. To document and share my experiences, I have also created a YouTube channel highlighting the unusual life of a native Californian living in Greece since 1984. The channel is a natural extension of my passion for storytelling and keen interest in video editing.
